Translation of marketing texts
When translating marketing texts, it is about so much more than just translation. Your brand's linguistic expression must be reflected in terms of tone of voice, choice of words and level of style. Språkbolaget helps companies in Gothenburg to ensure your marketing texts have a unique feel that reflects the brand and strengthens customer relationships. By creating accurate and impactful texts, we make sure your business stands out from the competition in Gothenburg.

Your local translation agency in Gothenburg with a broad range of expertise
With us, you get a dedicated team of translators, revisers and project managers, all of whom have extensive experience in handling market-adapted texts across various industries. Many of them have a background and training in journalism and copywriting. All our translators translate exclusively into their native language and either live in the country where the language is spoken or maintain close ties with their homeland. This ensures you get the best possible translation, as the nuances of the language are most evident to a native speaker. This is also important because language is constantly evolving, and a translator must therefore stay up to date with the languages they work in and follow the latest linguistic trends in order to create a contemporary text.

Språkbolaget is the translation agency in Gothenburg with more than 20 years of experience in the industry. Translating public interest texts for newcomers
Sweden receives many newly arrived immigrants. This means that a large number of people are living in the country without deep knowledge of Swedish. Instead, a host of other languages are becoming increasingly common. For this reason, it is vitally important that socially useful information is translated into other languages so that everyone can access and understand important information. We are the translation agency in Gothenburg that, together with you who operate a business in Gothenburg, want to make a difference for society!
The translation agency in Gothenburg with a secure process
At Språkbolaget we have extensive experience of translating texts from Swedish into languages such as Dari, Sorani, Arabic, Tigrinya and Farsi (Persian), and we have developed and refined our processes over many years when it comes to migrant languages. We have a network of translators who not only understand Swedish, but are also familiar with Swedish society.
High quality is important to us at Språkbolaget, which is why, together with you, we establish a process specifically tailored to your text and needs. We maintain a close dialogue with you and the translators throughout the entire project. As several of these languages are not written using the Latin alphabet, handling the final files is often a bit more complex than for other languages. For example, the layout may need some adjustment. Just let us know if you also need help with this and we will assist you all the way to print-ready material.

Annual reports and financial texts with the right phrasing and tone
Every company has its own tone and style for its annual reports and financial statements. If an annual report or financial statement is to be translated, the translator must, in addition to in-depth industry-specific knowledge regarding terminology and usage, be familiar with the various standards used in different countries (IFRS and GAAP) and take into account the country in which the translation is to be used.
An annual report is a comprehensive publication that often spans hundreds of pages. It is frequently written by multiple authors and it is common for several updates to be made before it is ready for publication. If your company also has international stakeholders, or if authorities need access to a report in another language, it may become necessary to translate the annual report. This translation is then of great importance to ensure that the information reaches a wider audience.
By hiring Språkbolaget – a reputable translation agency in Gothenburg – when you need to have your annual report translated, you can be sure that your company in Gothenburg receives a translation of the highest quality: that it is accurate and meticulously performed. We have extensive experience and high expertise in the translation of financial reports and economic texts. With us, you get a team of native-speaking translators and proofreaders who have education and experience in the economic field. We treat your documents with the highest possible confidentiality and can also draw up separate non-disclosure agreements for assignments that require it.

The translation agency with expertise in healthcare, pharmaceuticals and medical technology
Medical texts are of a particularly sensitive nature as they can affect people's health. Whether it is about pharmaceutical information, manuals for medical equipment, clinical studies, reports or patient education, it is important that the text is written in the patient's or healthcare professional's native language and that all information is correct.
When it comes to the translation of medical texts, it is especially important that the translator has specific experience in translating medical texts. The translator needs to have knowledge of the terminology and the correct level of style to be able to create a high-quality native translation within the relevant field. For many years, we have built up a large network of medical translators who ensure that the translations have the right tone and expression for the intended target audience.

Which industries do you master?

We also provide Easy Swedish, Easy English and audiovisual translation services. We work exclusively with businesses.
Is there anything you don't do?
We work exclusively with businesses. Private individuals are referred to SFÖ's website. We do not work with interpretation.
Can I have my translation in the layout?
Yes, if you send us a text in InDesign and other formats, you will get the translation back in the same layout. We also offer additional DTP if you want print-ready files back. Please specify this when ordering or request for quotation.
Can you do express jobs?
Yes, absolutely. We will do everything we can to ensure you get the material back when you need it. Contact us here. Let us know when you need your translation and we will get back to you promptly.
Price and delivery time
How much does a translation cost?
The price of your translation is based on a combination of different criteria, such as the text's difficulty and subject matter, text volume, target and source languages, as well as the deadline.
Translation prices are very much about supply and demand. Certain languages have fewer available translators within specific subject categories, and therefore the prices are higher than for languages and subjects where there are more translators to choose from. Some languages are more labour-intensive than others, and the text may need to be adapted more to the culture of the different countries. Upload your file to get a quote. If the file is large we recommend WeTransfer.
Can you offer contract prices and volume discounts?
Yes, of course. If you have regular translation needs with larger volumes, we are happy to offer you a contract price. Contact one of our project managers here.
Do you charge extra for express delivery?
We charge an additional 10–100 % for express delivery. Express delivery costs more because the translator has to put other assignments on hold and may have to work overtime to complete this one. In most cases, the work is completed quickly even without express delivery, so the surcharge may not be necessary. Upload your file with the proposed delivery date to get a quote. If the file is large, we recommend WeTransfer.
How quickly can I get my translation?
Delivery times depend primarily on the availability of a suitable translator and the volume of text. A good rule of thumb is to assume that a translator has the capacity to translate approximately 2,000 words per day. On top of this come project management, language checking and file handling. When you receive a quote from us, we’ll also provide a delivery time. Please state in your quote request if you have a specific deadline to meet, and we’ll take this into account. If you’re in a particular hurry, we offer an express service where you can have your text translated extra quickly. Request a quote here.
Translation process and quality
What does your working process look like?
Our standard work process involves a native-speaking translator with specialist expertise in the relevant field who translates and reviews their own text. After that, another translator steps in to review the text yet again. As a regular customer with us, you have the opportunity to get the same translator every time and one and the same project manager. We can set up specially tailored work processes and workflows for different types of customer projects. Contact us if you would like to discuss your project with one of our project managers. We have spent many years honing our work process. Read about some of our client case studies here.
Who translates my text?
A qualified native translator specialising in the relevant subject area translates the text, and a second qualified translator reviews it, in accordance with our standard workflow.

To be approved as a translator with us, you must be a trained translator, translate into your mother tongue, keep in close touch with the development of the language, have documented experience and good references. In addition, you must pass our tests with an approved result. We monitor our translators closely and have developed a quality system that helps us choose the right translator for the right text.
How do you guarantee quality?

We only use translators who meet our quality standards, and we have a documented workflow that involves an additional review of all texts. However, should you not be satisfied with our work, we will revise the translation free of charge in line with any relevant comments until it meets your requirements.
